Ulta Salon Cosmetics & Fragrance Inc. on Thursday said it expects its earnings per share to double or nearly double in its fiscal first quarter compared with a year ago.
The beauty retailer expects to earn between 14 cents per share and 16 cents per share for the period ending in April, compared with 8 cents per share last year.
It forecast sales of $301 million to $307 million, up from $268.8 million in the period last year. Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expect it to earn 12 cents per share on $299 million in revenue in the period.
